Explore Orkney in this immersive, private full-day tour, perfect for those short on time but eager to experience the highlights of this historic and beautiful Northern archipelago. Over the course of the day, your guide, Paul, an Orkney resident with a deep passion for wildlife and food production, will lead you through 5,000 years of history, stopping at some of Orkney’s most iconic sites. The tour is conducted in an all-electric Mercedes Evito for a silent, eco-friendly journey through the Orkney landscape, making it as sustainable as it is memorable.

What’s Included
- The Italian Chapel – 30 minutes at this beautifully crafted chapel, built by Italian POWs. Admission Included
- Scapa Flow – 30 minutes exploring the world’s largest natural harbour with breathtaking views and historical insights. Admission Included
- Standing Stones of Stenness – Visit and learn about this ancient henge site from 3100 BC. Admission Included
- Ring of Brodgar – Explore this Neolithic stone circle with opportunities to spot local birdlife. Admission Included
- Skara Brae – 90 minutes at this preserved Neolithic village with views of the Atlantic. Admission Included
- Brough of Birsay – Visit Pictish and Viking ruins on this tidal island, time-dependent. Admission Included
- Orkney Islands Scenery – Enjoy the views from our luxury electric vehicle, with insights from Paul and time for questions and photo stops along the way.
Lunch can be included by us upon request at an additional fee (a homemade packed lunch) or you can enjoy a lunch at any of our many wonderful eateries on the Island.
Pickup & Meeting Information
Choose from a variety of pickup locations on Orkney Mainland, or opt to meet us at designated points. Custom pickup points are also available upon request. Please arrive at your pickup location 10 minutes prior to departure.
